Located in mid-coast Maine, The Waldoboro Inn is an Italianate mansion built in 1880 by Captain John B. Stahl, one of Waldoboro's illustrious ship captains who sailed the coast bringing timber, granite and ice to ports south.
Once a bustling shipbuilding center, the town of Waldoboro was known for the five-masted schooner and now has a vibrant farming community and some of the best clam flats in the State of Maine.
